Dow Chemical Co. President Frank Popoff will assume the additional post of chief executive, effective Dec. 1, succeeding Paul Oreffice, who will remain chairman of the Midland, Mich.-based firm. Popoff also will become chairman of the executive committee, succeeding Oreffice, who remains a member.
