Local News in Brief : Dana Point : Grand Opening Sunday for Recreation Facility

The Capistrano Bay Park and Recreation District will sponsor a grand opening celebration of its new multipurpose facility at Del Obispo Park on Sunday. The new building includes a gymnasium, kitchen, classrooms, conference room, stage and offices; will be used for district classes, sports leagues and senior citizen programs, and will be available for public use. The public is invited to attend the grand opening, which will feature live music, refreshments, exhibits and tours of the new building. The free two-hour event will begin at 1 p.m. Sunday at Del Obispo Park, 34052 Del Obispo Road in Dana Point.
