Claremont : Hester Running for Senate

Sandra K. Hester, who has lived in Claremont for 15 years and is a regional director of the Democratic Party’s state organization, will seek the Democratic nomination in the 25th State Senate District at the June primary.

Hester, 44, was associate director of the program in public policy analysis at Pomona College for three years and is a research associate at the Roosevelt Center for American Policy Studies. She will be seeking the seat held by Sen. H. L. (Bill) Richardson (R-Glendora), who has announced that he will retire.
