Local News in Brief : Drug Bust Nets Students
An 11-week drug investigation by two undercover police officers in Alhambra has led to the arrest of 15 students and three non-students at Alhambra and San Gabriel high schools.
The police officers, who had posed as high school students since the beginning of the school year, said they purchased $800 worth of marijuana, cocaine and LSD during the investigation.
The undercover operation, the first in the Alhambra School District, also turned up three other suspects, who are expected to be arrested in the next few days, police said.
