John Landis will direct Eddie Murphy in the comedian’s next project for Paramount, Daily Variety reported Monday, but what the film might be remains to be seen. “There’s no title for the film ready yet, and the elements aren’t ready to announce,” a studio spokesman said. The film would be Landis’ first directorial effort since his May acquittal on involuntary manslaughter charges stemming from the death of Vic Morrow and two children during filming of the movie version of “Twilight Zone.”
