Rep. Gradison Released After Thyroid Surgery

WASHINGTON — Rep. Bill Gradison (R-Ohio) was released Tuesday from Walter Reed Army Hospital and returned to work following surgery last week to remove a portion of his thyroid gland. Surgeons removed some tissue suspected of being cancerous. They said they believed they had gotten it all and gave Gradison an excellent prognosis.
