Limiting Growth in the Southland

I object to my husband’s total Weiss put-down. At least Weiss said one good thing. He said representative government should “assume responsibility and make the hard choices.”
I say representative government--in Washington, D.C.--can be brought to do that: make the hard choices that will eventually free up tax money to solve these “infrastructure” problems.
That choice will be ratification of President Reagan’s IMF treaty and later his 50% cut in strategic weapons. This, in the long run, will reverse the war psychology and halt war’s brain-and-dollar drain--the drain that leaves our domestic problems so pitifully unattended.
So I say let’s channel the money and brains spent on war into solving things like our density problem.
