Executives of NBC and Turner Broadcasting System Inc. met to discuss a proposed venture, but neither side would reveal the outcome of the talks. The meeting in New York was only the latest in a series of meetings between the companies, NBC spokesman Dom Giofre said. “The topic is a possible venture between Turner and NBC. Beyond that I wouldn’t want to get specific,” Turner spokesman Arthur Sando said. It was reported last week that NBC might invest $400 million in Turner Broadcasting in return for a 25% stake in the company.
