2 Doctors in Britain Fight During Surgery

BIRKENHEAD, England — A fist-fight broke out between two surgeons during an operation in a northern English hospital, and one had to be treated for minor injuries, a health authority spokesman said on Monday.
Another doctor had to step in and finish the operation after orthopedic surgeon Bob Johnson clashed with George Jacobs over working hours at Birkenhead’s Arrowe Park Hospital.
The spokesman said the authorities were considering disciplinary action.
