Unexplained Aerial Display Lights Sky Over Eastern States

Mysterious lights brightened the sky from New York to Virginia early Tuesday, but officials were unable to identify the source.
Police, emergency operators and Coast Guard spokesmen said the display was variously described as blue lights, a fireball and a meteor shower.
Officials at Dover Air Force Base in Delaware said they were unaware of the lights, and a security guard at Wallops Island said no rockets had been launched from there.
