W. German Firms Raided

DARMSTADT, West Germany —
Police have raided 12 companies suspected of illegally supplying Iraq with equipment to make poison gas for use against Iran, a prosecutor’s spokesman said Tuesday. No arrests were made but the inquiry is continuing, he said.
