Gorbachev’s U.S. Visit
I think Berezhkov is very accurate in his assessments of U.S.-Soviet relations past and present, and I agree with him that the question is whether the West is capable of adopting new ways of thinking.
Unless we can change our way of thinking about the resolution of conflict and find nonviolent solutions for differences with the Soviets, and any other nations for that matter, we are manifesting a certain destiny of the extinction of all mankind.
