Chico Borja of the Lazers issued a written apology for hitting a youngster after a Major Indoor Soccer League game last month against the Tacoma Stars. Borja asked to be forgiven for the Nov. 15 incident in which Jesse Neil, 13, suffered a cut lip. The boy was treated at the Tacoma Dome’s first-aid station.

The Lazers said that Borja will be in uniform when Los Angeles plays at Tacoma Dec. 11.
