West Hollywood : Residents Asked for Park Ideas
- Share via
The city is sponsoring a community picnic at William S. Hart Park on Dec. 19 to give residents a chance to discuss their ideas on how the park should be landscaped and renovated, according to a city administrator.
The park, donated in the early 1940s by Hart, a silent film star, will be redesigned using a $200,000 trust fund that Hart donated and grants from the city and the state, said recreation services administrator Curtis Brown.
The picnic, from noon to 3 p.m., will be the last opportunity residents have to discuss their views with Rios Pearson Inc., the landscape architecture firm hired by the city, before plans are submitted to the state.
The park is at 8341 Delongpre Ave. For information, call Brown at (213) 854-7471.
