Fifteen demonstrators, including the wife of maimed protester Brian Willson, were taken into custody for blocking a train carrying munitions to the Concord Naval Weapons Station, but they were not cited. Sydney Vilen of the Mt. Diablo Peace Center said the 15 were taken away by Contra Costa County sheriff’s deputies, detained and then released. Among them was Holley Rauen, wife of Willson, who lost his legs when he was run over by one of the weapons trains Sept 1. Vilen said this was the first time since the incident that Rauen had attended a train-stopping demonstration. The five-car train was detained for several minutes, Vilen said.
