Soviet Mother Names Twins Ronald, Mikhail

MOSCOW —
A Moscow woman who gave birth to twins as Ronald Reagan and Mikhail S. Gorbachev signed their historic arms reduction treaty decided to name her boys Mikhail and Ronald, the youth daily Komsomolskaya Pravda said today.
The newspaper carried a photograph of a smiling Galina Sakharov at Moscow’s Maternity Clinic No. 5 holding her two boys swathed in starched white baby blankets.
