TV pitchman Cal Worthington and his wife of eight years have started what lawyers say may be long divorce proceedings in Willows, Calif. During the first day in court Wednesday, testimony focused on Worthington’s financial worth, estimated by wife Susan’s attorney, Marvin Mitchelson, as between $50 million and $100 million. Worthington testified that his wife, 40, a former actress and model, had an “obsession with horses.” She is seeking $20,000 a month support for herself and $10,000 a month for her 26 show horses.
