Postal Service Sets Up Temporary Centers
The Postal Service has set up temporary centers at seven Los Angeles shopping centers where shoppers can buy special holiday boxes, philatelic gifts and stamps. Purchasers of $10 postal hobby gifts will receive Christmas or love stamp pins.
Locations and hours are: Arco Plaza, continuing through Friday, Dec. 18, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays only; Broadway Plaza, through Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays; Eagle Rock Plaza, through next Saturday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday; Los Angeles Mall, through Friday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. weekdays.
Three centers will open today and remain open almost until Christmas. Century City Shopping Center will have a postal center today through Dec. 23. Centers will open at Beverly Center and Westside Pavilion today and be open through Dec. 24. All three will operate from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays.
