John L. Patterson has been appointed to the new position of president and chief financial officer of Pacific Crest Homes, Laguna Niguel, a recently created division of the Frost Group. Patterson was previously vice president of California First Bank and was based in the Santa Ana branch. Until the formation of the new division for single-family homes, Frost Group, headquartered in Laguna Hills, had focused on construction and management of condominium and apartment communities.
