Dickerson Had to Go to Give Rams a Chance

Let us finally put to rest the rhetoric regarding the Eric Dickerson trade. The trade had to be made. Eric Dickerson traded himself--he was a cancer to the team. Keeping No. 29 would be like running a marathon with a rock in your shoe.
The Rams are playing great football, and if they make the playoffs (who would have thought it possible at 1-7), they deserve a lot more credit than any fair-weather fan can give.
