Pitcher Dave Righetti is listening to offers but is waiting until the last minute to decide whether he will go to arbitration with the New York Yankees or open the bidding to everyone, according to his agent.

He must make that decision by tonight.

Righetti’s attorney, Bill Goodstein, said Friday that the Dodgers are “among the main people we are talking to . . . We’re trying to pare the list down.” Goodstein said that he had talked with the Angels, but that those talks were in a preliminary stage because the Angels are waiting to see what pitcher Mike Witt will do.
