Shootings Outside Bar Leave Two Men Dead
Two men who apparently had been drinking together walked out of a bar in Santa Clarita late Friday and fatally shot each other, sheriff’s deputies said Saturday. Deputies had no explanation.
The shooting occurred outside Trail’s Tavern on North San Fernando Road about 11:30 p.m. The two were found lying in the parking lot. Geronimo Solis, 35, of Valencia, was pronounced dead at the scene. Magdalena Peralta, 28, of Newhall, died early Saturday in Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Hospital in Valencia, Deputy Bill Wehner said.
