- The California Arts Council is funding master-apprentice grants through its traditional Folk Arts Program. Dancers, musicians, craftsmen and other artists involved in community-based expressions will be considered. Applicants must apply as a partnership--a team of learner and expert in a traditional folk art form.
To receive an application, write the California Arts Council, 1901 Broadway, Suite A, Sacramento CA 95818. The deadline for applying is Jan. 15, and all projects will begin after April 15.
