Dan Fouts, who was sacked five times last weekend, is suffering from a shoulder injury and will sit out the Chargers’ regular-season finale against Denver, Coach Al Saunders said.

“This I was told is about a three week injury,” said Saunders, who added that Mark Herrmann will start Sunday’s game in Denver with rookie Mark Vlasic as backup.
