The 20-year-old son of state Sen. John Seymour, R-Anaheim, was ordered Wednesday to pay a $150 fine for disturbing the peace at a Hollywood concert in October.

Jeffrey Seymour pleaded guilty last month to one misdemeanor count, and Los Angeles Municipal Judge Sandy Kriegler ordered him to spend five days in county jail or pay a $150 fine. Today, the judge ordered restitution of $150, to be paid by Jan. 6, court officials said.

Seymour was booked for battery Oct. 1, after a security guard at the Hollywood Holiday Inn made a citizen’s arrest. Police said the guard was checking on complaints by hotel guests about 1 a.m. when he told Seymour and a friend they were too loud and asked them to leave.

A scuffle broke out in a large crowd that had gathered for a party held by a radio station before Seymour and his friend were subdued and police were called.
