Dirty diapers, dirty language and dirty tricks. For Christmas revelers cooling out over the weekend in America’s movie theaters, these were a few of their favorite things. Disney/Touchstone’s ‘Three Men and a Baby” reasserted itself as the nation’s most popular holiday movie, adding $10.3 million to a booty that now stands at almost $60 million. Eddie Murphy’s decidedly “Raw” took in a big second weekend gross of $8.6 million, while Orion’s black comedy sleeper “Throw Momma From the Train” bumped its payload by another $6.8 million, running its 17-day total to a $25.1 million. (Now we know why Orion didn’t save this movie for Mother’s Day.) “Broadcast News” rode its consensus of rave reviews to a hot opening weekend of $5.5 million in 677 theaters, a per screen average of $8,124.

* “Good Morning, Vietnam,” which features a warp speed star turn by Robin Williams as a manic army deejay in 1966 Saigon, played to what must have been packed houses in its exclusive opening weekend, averaging $48,219 at each of four theaters.
