A Palestinian terrorist group said today it will soon release two French girls it has held hostage since the terrorists seized a yacht at sea more than seven weeks ago.

Sisters Virginie, 5, and Marie-Laure, 6--the children of Jacqueline Valente, 30--”will be moved to an Arab capital” and freed, said a statement issued by the Fatah-Revolutionary Council, led by Palestinian terrorist Abu Nidal.

The statement was delivered today to a Western news agency in Beirut with color photographs of the two girls to authenticate it.

Nothing was said about releasing the mother or the baby who last week was reported born to Valente in captivity.

The two sisters, their mother and five Belgians have been held since Nov. 8, when a yacht they were sailing off the Israeli-occupied Gaza Strip was seized. The Abu Nidal group said at the time that the passengers were Israeli agents.
