Pope’s Message
Pope John Paul II, in his Christmas message to Poland, urged his compatriots not to emigrate “because the duty of looking after the well-being of our common homeland falls on all of us.”
His words are of special import to all those who desire to emigrate from Mexico, El Salvador, Haiti and countless other countries with political and economic difficulties. He is saying: Stay home and work from within for the betterment of your native land.
