Matti Nykaenen of Finland came from behind in the second round to win the second meet of the Four Hill ski jumping tournament with 212.4 points at Garmisch-Partenkirchen, West Germany.
Nykaenen, opening the new year with his fifth win of the World Cup season, was the only jumper in the field of 110 to go past 100 meters (328 feet) on each jump.
Swedish teen-ager Staeffan Taellberg was second, and West Germany’s Jens Weissflog was third.
