Lazers Score 9-5 Win Over Tacoma

The Lazers took sole possession of second place in the Western Division of the Major Indoor Soccer League Saturday night with a 9-5 victory over the Tacoma Stars at Tacoma.

Both teams were 2 1/2 games behind division-leading San Diego before the game, but the Sockers lost to the Steamers, 4-2, Saturday night in San Diego.

The victory put the Lazers (10-7) just 1 1/2 games out of first place. They play the Steamers (7-10) tonight at 6 at the Forum.
