AFG Industries, an Irvine-based flat glass manufacturer, has completed its previously announced purchase of Ford Motor Co.’s Canadian glass subsidiary for an undisclosed amount of cash. The Canadian flat glass producer and fabricator will be operated by AFG Glass, a subsidiary of AFG Industries created for that purpose. Projected 1987 revenues are $185 to $190 million in Canadian dollars, or about $140 million in U.S. currency.
