The Emerald Isle has apparently produced another fund-raising, socially concerned rocker. Following the example set by Bob Geldof--founder of the Live Aid/Sport Aid functions--Bono Hewson, lead singer of U2, will donate whatever proceeds realized from the sale of his photographs of the Ethiopian town of Ajibar toward famine relief in that country. Hewson hopes to raise up to $960,000 for the cause when 30 limited editions of the photographs go on sale in Dublin next week.
