Local News in Brief : Utility Service Recognized
Avalon Mayor Irene Strobel recognized 25 years of service to Catalina Island by Southern California Edison Co., which provides electricity and water to the island. A resolution and plaque were accepted by Angelo Kedis, Catalina district manager for the utility.
