Dean Rusk Hospitalized With Fever and Infection

ATLANTA —
Dean Rusk, secretary of state under Presidents John F. Kennedy and Lyndon B. Johnson, has been hospitalized in stable condition with a fever and infection, his son said Thursday. Rusk, 78, was admitted to Emory University Hospital on Dec. 26 and is being treated with antibiotics, Richard Rusk said.
