Largemouth Bass Fishing Helped by Cold Weather

Largemouth bass fishing has been picking up during the current cold spell.

One of the better bites is under way at Lake Casitas in Ventura County, where John and Kim Shull of Oxnard fished the east shore and caught four bass totaling more than 40 pounds. The largest was 13 1/2 pounds.
