Blizzards Halt Search for Victim of Avalanche

ASPEN, Colo. —
Ground blizzards on Monday forced searchers to indefinitely call off attempts to find a missing woman believed to have been killed in an avalanche that also claimed two companions. The searchers had returned to the site of the avalanche Sunday in the rugged back country 17 miles south of here and probed with 30-foot poles for Kristyne (Teeny) H. Jeung, 37, a city councilwoman in Glenwood Springs.
