- Three’s Company went out on a limb by scheduling an ambitious concert of new works over two weekends at the Mandell Weiss Center for the Performing Arts. Fortunately, the gamble is paying off.

“We had good houses Friday night, and even better houses Saturday,” Isaacs said. “We’ve already had bigger audiences than we ever had, and we’ve still got two performances this weekend.”

Isaacs is aware that the company will have to compete with Nureyev when it returns to the stage this weekend. But going head-to-head with this superstar has not shaken her confidence.

“It might hurt us a little, but I’ve always felt that dance begets dance,” Isaacs said, “and I’m optimistic about this weekend. I think the audiences are out there.”
