Intel Corp. reported a turnaround in earnings, with record net income for the year ended Dec. 26 of $248 million, contrasted with a loss of $173 million for 1986. The Santa Clara-based computer chip manufacturer said revenue rose 51% to $1.91 billion. The company credited results to strong demand for its advanced 80386 microprocessor.
