Dole to Share Tax Data but Doesn't Say When

From a Times Staff Writer

Kansas Sen. Bob Dole said Wednesday that he will release his tax returns for the last 20 years, but did not say when.

Dole said he has to find them all first. He has been under pressure from Vice President George Bush, his chief rival for the Republican presidential nomination, to make public his personal finances. Dole also said Wednesday that he will release information on his wife Elizabeth's blind trust and details of his efforts to help an aide win a federal contract.
