Jackson’s Attorney Says Royals Still Approve of Bo Playing Both Sports
Bo Jackson has received a letter from the Kansas City Royals giving him “full permission” to continue playing baseball and football, his attorney said Wednesday night.
Richard Woods said he got the letter Wednesday from Royal co-owner Avron Fogelman “apologizing for any misunderstanding relating to having to choose between baseball and football.”
“He wrote that he is supportive of Bo pursuing two sports,” Woods said. “He gave his full permission to play both.”
Fogelman caused controversy earlier this week when he said he planned to meet with Jackson this summer and tell him he “has to decide if he wants to be a baseball player or not.”
