Ford Motor Co. said it will spend about $150 million to expand production at its Sharonville, Ohio, transmission plant, a move that will add about 200 jobs beginning in 1990. Ford also announced a new incentive program that offers rebates of up to $1,000 on selected autos, including the hot-selling Ford Taurus and Mercury Sable. Meanwhile, Honda of Canada said it plans an $80-million expansion at its plant in Alliston, Ontario, and will start making the Honda Civic three-door hatchback there in April.
