Santa Fe Southern Pacific Corp. and Koch Industries Inc. said they have entered into an agreement under which Koch will acquire two pipeline systems. The deal involves the Gulf Central System, stretching from the Gulf Coast to the Midwest, which transports anhydrous ammonia fertilizer, and the Chaparral System, which includes the Chaparral line that transports natural gas liquids from Eastern New Mexico and West Texas to Houston; a 117-mile petroleum products line between Amarillo, Tex., and Clovis, N.M.; and a 39-mile line at Temple, Tex., that transports diesel fuel. Terms were not disclosed.
