The Dodgers and Salem, Ore., of the Class A Northwest League have entered into a working agreement for the 1988 season, the Dodgers announced.

The addition of Salem gives the Dodgers eight minor league clubs for the first time since 1964. Salem becomes the Dodgers’ third Class-A team, joining Bakersfield of the California League and Vero Beach of the Florida State League.
