‘Crunched’

I laughed till tears rolled down my cheeks as I read Ellen Goodman’s “Crunched by Our Things and Time” (Op-Ed Page, Jan. 9). Before me in front of the TV was the VCR I’ve had without mastering for six months. Mea culpa !
I am grateful to the Los Angeles Times for running Goodman’s articles. But, alas, they appear only too seldom.
