The Dodgers have entered into their first working agreement with Mexican League teams, the Mexico City Tigers and the San Luis Tuneros.
They have agreed to assign three players to each team and provide them with coaching help.
In a related move, Mike Williams was named director of publicity. Williams, 28, comes to the Dodgers from the Los Angeles Turf Club, Inc., where he served as director of marketing since 1984.
Williams was a Division III baseball All-American at Claremont Men’s College.
