If aircraft noise has been giving you a headache, you now have a noise complaint telephone number into which you can vent your spleen.
The new 24-hour number is 64-NOISE, which will get you through to the Los Angeles Department of Airports. Answering calls between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. on weekdays will be the department’s community relations staff; its operations people will take after-hours and weekend complaints, according to Virginia Y. Black, the department’s public and community relations director.
