One man was injured and 10 people arrested Friday night after a fight in which the combatants, all suspected gang members, used taser guns, Burbank police reported.
Roberto Perez, 22, of Burbank, was admitted to St. Joseph’s Medical Center with a depressed skull fracture after a cinder block was dropped on his head during the fight, Lt. Joe Valento said. He was listed in stable condition by hospital officials.
The 10 arrested, many of them believed to be members of the Burbank Punk Organization, were booked on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon, the police said.
Valento, who called the incident a “major gang fight,” said the melee, which broke out about 11 p.m. in the 100 block of Kenwood Avenue, lasted several minutes before police arrived.
Two minors, 16 and 17 years old, were taken into custody along with eight adults, who ranged in age from 18 to 22, Valento said. One of the minors was released in the custody of his parents, and the other was taken to Juvenile Hall, he said.
The adults were still being held in Burbank Jail Saturday on $5,000 bail, Valento said.
