There will be more color than ever in Ronald Reagan’s face when American Film Technologies Inc. uses its “colorimaging” process on “Santa Fe Trail” and 10 other films that have fallen into the public domain. The company will add color to four feature-length Sherlock Holmes classics (“The Woman in Green,” “Dressed to Kill,” “Secret Weapon” and “Terror by Night”), plus “Meet John Doe,” “Blood on the Sun,” “Armored Attack,” “Abilene Town,” and the 1946 release “Gung Ho.” “It’s a Wonderful Life,” which already has been colorized by a different company using a different process, also will get the treatment.
