SUPER BOWL SPECIAL : S.D. Transit Buses Running 21 Routes From Around County

San Diego Transit will provide countywide Super Bowl bus service on 21 routes. The special service will begin at 10 a.m. Sunday, with buses departing for San Diego Jack Murphy Stadium about every 15 minutes. The last departure will be at 1:30 p.m., except for the North County routes, when the last departure will be between 1 p.m. and 1:40 p.m. The round-trip fares will be $6 for routes A through P, and $10 for North County routes R through W.

The routes and boarding locations:

Route A (express), MIRA MESA: Mira Mesa Boulevard at Interstate 15.

Route B, LA JOLLA VILLAGE: Villa La Jolla Drive at Nobel Drive (La Jolla Village Square); Villa La Jolla Drive at Holiday Court (La Jolla Village Inn); La Jolla Village Drive at Genesee Avenue (Marriott Hotel); La Jolla Village Drive at Executive Way/Towne Center Drive (Embassy Suites).

Route C, VACATION VILLAGE: Ski Beach parking lot; Ingraham Street and Vacation Village Road (Vacation Village); Mission Bay High School; Hilton Hotel.

Route D, PACIFIC BEACH: Sapphire Street and Mission Boulevard; Chalcedony Street (Capri by the Sea); Felspar Street and Mission Boulevard; Pacific Beach Drive (Catamaran); West Mission Bay Drive and Mariners Way (Bahia); West Mission Bay Drive and Quivira Road (Islandia, Dana Inn); TraveLodge on Sports Arena Boulevard.

Route E, SHELTER ISLAND: Harbor Drive and Nimitz Boulevard (The Sea Point, Best Western Posada Inn, Quality Inn); Scott Street and Emerson (The Outrigger Motel); Humphrey’s Restaurant (Half Moon Inn, Bay Club Hotel); Marina Inn (Kona Inn); Kona Kai Club.

Route F, HARBOR ISLAND: Sheraton Harbor Island Hotel; Sheraton Grand; Viscount Hotel.

Route G, COUNTY BUILDING: Kettner Boulevard and Broadway (east side of Santa Fe Depot); Harbor Drive and Ash Street (Holiday Inn Embarcadero).

Route H, MARRIOTT HOTEL: Marriott Hotel; 5th and Island avenues (Horton Grand); 5th Avenue and E Street; 4th Avenue and Broadway (U.S. Grant Hotel); 1st Avenue and Broadway; 1st Avenue and C Street; 1st Avenue and Cedar Street (Holiday Inn).

Route I, OLD TOWN/HOTEL CIRCLE SOUTH/MISSION VALLEY: Old Town park-and-ride lot; Juan and Taylor streets (Padre Trails Inn); Circle 7/11 Motel (Ramada Inn); TraveLodge; Kings Inn (Plaza International, TraveLodge); Mission Valley Inn; Vagabound Inn (Holiday Inn); Circle Inn (Budget Motel, Best Western 7 Seas).

Route J, HOTEL CIRCLE NORTH: Town and Country Hotel; Stardust Hotel; Hanalei (Motel 6); Interstate 8 Motel (Fabulous Inns, EZ 8 Motel).

Route K (express), H STREET TROLLEY STATION: H Street Trolley Station, Chula Vista.

Route L (express), PLAZA BONITA: Plaza Bonita Shopping Center, National City.

Route M, COLLEGE GROVE/SAN DIEGO STATE UNIVERSITY: College Grove Shopping Center; SDSU (College Avenue bus stop).

Route N (express), GROSSMONT CENTER: Grossmont Shopping Center, La Mesa.

Route O (express), EL CAJON TRANSIT CENTER: Marshall Avenue and Main Street.

Route P (express), CLAIREMONT: Convoy Street and Othello Avenue.

Route R, OCEANSIDE TRANSIT CENTER: 195 S. Tremont St.

Route S, PLAZA CAMINO REAL: West end of parking lot near Sears store.

Route T, LA COSTA PARK-AND-RIDE: Interstate 5 and La Costa Avenue.

Route U, CARDIFF PARK-AND-RIDE: Interstate 5 and Birmingham Drive.

Routes V-W, ESCONDIDO VILLAGE MALL: Second entrance at Grand Avenue, behind Fedco; southeast corner at park-and-ride lot; Broadway park-and-ride lot; Felicita Plaza.
