Local News in Brief : Laguna Hills : Thief With Handgun Robs Savings & Loan
A robber in a brown baseball cap held up a Laguna Hills savings and loan Friday before escaping with an undisclosed amount of money, authorities said.
The man walked into a Great Western Savings & Loan in the 25300 block of Cabot Road at 12:06 p.m. and demanded money from a teller after showing a handgun hidden inside his jacket, Sheriff’s Lt. Richard J. Olson said.
No one was hurt in the holdup, Olson said.
The robber, described as 5 feet, 5 inches with a slender build and dark brown eyes and hair, is still at large, Olson said.
